An Awkward Ride

Stop-motion animated short depicting a realistic and frustratingly awkward car ride to the airport, done for Aardman Academy's Stopmotion 1 Industry Training course. Completed July 2023, filmed in my living room in Sacramento, CA.

Description:

I created this short scene as an exercise for Aardman, practicing my subtle animated acting skills through clay-skinned puppets. This was my first time using clay for human characters, and I found it very challenging and I learned a lot about puppet fabrication while filming and building this. All sets and costuming are handmade by me.
